This New Zealand Mountain Biking Tour is designed for mountain bikers who like enjoyable leisurely rides in wild landscapes and promises the active traveller an unforgettable experience.
The exploration will mean you get to mountain bike New Zealand’s very different north and south islands and you also get to experience what our diverse country has to offer. The tour includes the follow adventures:
- Historic railways, pack tracks and driving routes.
- Ancient forest’s of the North Island
- Gold mining areas of the South Island
- World-class gravel bike trails that were previously only accessible on multi-day hiking trips.
The tour begins in Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city and the hub of the North Island renowned for the beauty of its beaches and islands and 14 days later you’ll complete the journey with a crossing of Te Triritiri o-te Moana – the Southern Alps over the Arthur’s Pass to Christchurch.
Join us on this 14 Day tour departing Auckland on 25th March to Christchurch arriving 7th April 2016.
A 5 Day tour extension from Christchurch to Queenstown is also available.
