My special experience was the interrelationship of the total group - including guides and organisers was outstanding. Croatia was a fabulous place to visit, and brilliant to cycle and sail around.

Please make your own way to Trogir (near the airport of Split). After checking in to the motor yacht between 2.00-2.30pm, our first cruise begins at 3pm as we head to Rogoznica, where we spend the night. Cycling: 20 km

In the morning we cycle from Rogoznica on the Dalmatian coast to Primošten, with its beautiful vineyards and beaches. Then we cruise to the historical city of Šibenik, the spot where the Krka River flows into the Adriatic Sea. After visiting the famous cathedral of St James and exploring this lovely old town, we cruise further up the lower part of the Krka River to the small town of Skradin, where we stay tonight. This is one of the oldest Croatian towns, famous for its 6000 years of turbulent history, but today it is an attractive destination.

The magnificent port of Skradin is today’s starting point for our excursion by boat and on foot to the most famous part of the Krka National Park with its unique waterfalls. In the early afternoon our boat takes us to the harbour of Vodice, a well known and lively resort town located in a large bay on the Dalmatian mainland. From here we can take another short bike ride.

We cycle from Vodice to Murter Island, connected to the mainland by a bridge at Tisno. Then we ride along the waterfront past two old coastal villages until we find our boat waiting for us at a small harbour. A cruise takes us through the National Park of the Kornati Islands - an archipelago in crystal clear waters known for its diverse underwater flora and fauna. Our destination is the Telašćica Nature Park, a World Heritage site where the famous Silver Lake is located. This evening we can walk through the park to the impressive cliffs. After a short crossing to Sali, today's first bike ride takes us along the length of Dugi Otok on a quiet road, with fantastic views to the islands below. We meet the boat and cruise to Zadar on the mainland. Populated since prehistoric times, Zadar was for centuries the political, cultural and spiritual heart of Dalmatia. Your guide will take you on a walk through the alleyways of the old town centre, where 3000 years of history have left their imprint. You will see the mighty fortified walls with their bastions, the loggia and the early Romanesque St. Donatus Basilica. We overnight at Zadar's harbour.
