We have a special ‘one-off’ mountain biking tour of the South and North Islands of New Zealand departing Queenstown November 28th, 2012. This New Zealand bike tour samples the best of NZ Mountain Biking and includes a variety of MTB rides including big hill, tussock, schist rocks in Central Otago, high mountains and beechforest in Hanmer / St James Station, Coastal riding in Marlborough, lush green forest riding along the Wanganui River, amazingly well built tracks in Whakawerawera Forest in Rotorua, and the unique rainforest trail of the Whirinaki Forest. There’s a great mix of accommodation, historical B&B at Clyde, remote lodge at the Bridge to Nowhere with no road access (1 hour jet boat ride to get to lodge), lodge/hut accommodation with full service.

We’ll travel along the main axis of both the South and North Islands and get a great appreciation for the diversity of the country. We’ll take time out from our riding for ‘cultural’ interaction and have ‘double night’ stays in Wanaka, Clyde, Hanmer and Rotorua. This 15 Day tour finishes in Auckland on December 12, 2012.
