We enjoyed 8 days of cycling along the beautiful Danube from Passau to Vienna. This self-guided cycling tour was a relaxing yet active holiday and offered us the freedom to travel at our own pace.

The Marlborough region at the top of New Zealand’s South Island is the largest wine growing region with an enviable international reputation for producing the best Sauvignon Blanc in the world. It also makes extremely good Chardonnay and Riesling, and is fast developing a reputation for excellent quality Pinot Noir. One third of the regions ten thousand hectares of grapes are planted in Sauvignon Blanc.

Our 7 days of self guided biking from Vienna to Budapest saw us meandering through 3 very different countries (Austria, Slovakia & Hungary) as we regularly criss-crossed over the Danube.
